COULD YOU EXPLAIN HOW YOU WORK? WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH AND STYLE IN PHOTOGRAPHY AND WEDDING FILMS?
We are artists who come from the background of filmmaking. Our style is most often described as “Creative storytelling”, whose emphasis is on telling a unique, personal story of your wedding. Photographing your important day as it unfolds naturally without much interference from us is our way of working. Choreographing events and trying to replicate a certain style for every wedding is not personal – we like to take each wedding as a unique project. We love to improvise, hence looking for interesting lighting, backgrounds and unique aesthetics that is personal for you. We try to shoot in as much naturally lit conditions possible.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING WEDDINGS AND WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
Anand CJ, the founder is a filmmaker and is a graduate from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. After a brief stint back, he started Creative Chisel in Bangalore with a vision of telling emotional personal stories. Weddings was not a planned call for us but after shooting several celebrations, eventually found our love in it. We have been shooting weddings since 2010.
BEFORE I CALL YOU GUYS, WHAT ARE THE LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED US TO KEEP IN MIND?
Here are some things you check before the calling us:

2.You need to have a checklist of the following – The Dates of the wedding, The Venue of the wedding, The entire schedule with timings of each event, The approximate number of guests you are having for each events.

YOU ARE BASED OUT OF?
We are wedding photographers in Bangalore, India.
DO YOU TAKE UP WEDDINGS OUTSIDE YOUR CITY?
Of course! We have been part of weddings across the globe and we would be happy to travel to the destination of your wedding. For weddings outside Bangalore, travel and accommodation would be additionally charged. For accommodation, we ask that you reserve a room for us in the hotel where all the other guests are staying. All travel expenses are reimbursed after the wedding. We have travelled and provided candid photography and wedding films in Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar, Chennai and other places across India. We have been part of some beautiful weddings in Singapore and Malaysia as well.
HOW BIG IS YOUR CREW?
The team number depends on the scale of the wedding you have. Usually between 2 to a maximum of 6. Hence, the details you share with us about the events is very important.
DO YOU PROVIDE A TEAM FOR CLICKING GROUP PICTURES AND DOCUMENTARY VIDEOS AS WELL?
Yes we do provide the same. Having a single team taking care of the entire wedding – both candid wedding photography and wedding films is definitely efficient. It does help in a time crunched event like weddings where everything has to be planned and be at the right place.
WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU BUT WE ARE OUTSIDE INDIA AT THE MOMENT. IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THAT?
Most of our clients are based outside India who plan coming back to India to get married. We make sure we get to speak to the clients over Whatsapp or Zoom, take in most of the details and plan the package. We have been doing this for 10 years now and has been a very smooth and transparent process.
I HAVE MY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER FOR MY REGULAR GROUP PICTURES. IS THAT FINE WITH YOU?
Yes. But conveying the same during the early discussions in advised.
CAN I CHOOSE THE SONG FOR THE WEDDING FILM?
We appreciate your involvement in letting us know the genre or your inclination in terms of music. But we do not work in the reverse process where Music dictates the mood of the wedding film. You have to trust us completely on this and let us make the wedding film for you. All our pictures and Wedding films are the perspective of how we see your wedding. Be awesome at your wedding and your pictures and wedding film turn out to be awesome too.
SO HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR A WEDDING?
I wish there was straight forward answer for this. The kind of weddings we do vary from a half a day christian wedding to a 7 day long North Indian Wedding. Hence, dropping an email with all your requirements shall surely give us a better picture of your wedding, which will help us giving a package for you.
WHAT IS YOUR TIMELINES FOR DELIVERY OF IMAGES AND THE WEDDING FILM?
We usually deliver the soft copy images of pictures within 4-6 weeks of the wedding. The Wedding Films can take upto 2 months. The Photobook usually take 8-10 weeks depending on the type of album, the selection process of the pictures by the client and so on.
I AM DEFINITELY GOING AHEAD WITH YOU BUT NEED 2-3 WEEKS TO GET BACK ON THIS. IS THAT FINE?
On a busy season, we get a lot of enquiries and it gets very hard to follow up with each and every client. Blocking a date is with a booking fee is advised.
I LOVE YOUR WORK AND TOTALLY CONVINCED ABOUT YOU GUYS. SO WHAT NEXT?
Awesome! Confirming a project shall be requiring 50% as a booking fee to block our dates. Before which, we shall send you a contract with terms and conditions The rest is due on the day of the wedding or before we start post production.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I BOOK YOU GUYS?
