We at Creative Chisel believe in capturing beautiful moments from your wedding in a purely unobtrusive manner that are unscripted, and real. Being a Candid wedding Photographer from Bangalore with over 10 years of experience, our photography priority has always been capturing real moments of your day. Thank you for seeing the sample pictures, and i hope they are in sync with the style of photography you are looking for. Our approach is mostly photojournalistic and focus is on what is the most important aspect of a wedding – The moments. Recreating emotions is not possible and we strongly believe capturing these moments should take an upper hand than posed imagery.

Photographing your important day as it unfolds naturally without much interference from us is our way of working.A typical wedding day begins from the getting ready pictures of the bride, prep and the decor. While we are candid through the events, we do need some posed portraits of the couple so that they are part of the wedding story. We do not stop you in between any important ritual to look into the camera- we love to improvise, hence looking for interesting lighting, backgrounds and unique aesthetics that is personal for you. We try to shoot in as much naturally lit conditions possible. We also do not over edit our images, We keep our pictures real and unscripted.
We are wedding photographers in Bangalore, India.
We have 2 photographers covering the wedding ceremony, while the smaller events are covered by 1 photographer. Unless it is a wedding of a larger gathering (1000+), we stick to the same. GROUP PICTURES ARE INCLUDED IN OUR DELIVERABLES and IT IS A PART OF OUR WEDDING STORY. (The answer is in BOLD CAPS because that is one of the most common question asked, specially by the parents and senior citizens.)
NO. Like we answered above, we believe documenting rituals, taking group pictures is a part of your wedding story. Hence, we do make sure that is a part of our deliverable.
Like how no chef at a restaurant asks you to go get your own vegetables and ingredients to prepare your meal, we will never provide you RAW images and overwhelm you with the choice. We are artists and let us do this job what you have paid for. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM WHICH SO CALLED “CANDY” PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANIES RECENTLY HAVE BEEN PRACTICING.
Since we provide a sufficiently larger set of pictures, it pretty much sums up the entire wedding story, so requesting for RAW would make no value add. The RAW images we shoot are images that store a lot of bitmap information which will look good only after editing, so there is absolutely no point of them for viewing. Only if your intention is strictly for archiving, we provide RAW images after 6 months of us delivering our pictures and videos to you.
Unfortunately, the system of hiring multiple vendors for any wedding is not in benefit of the Bride and Groom, hence we have stopped taking up projects where there are other traditional teams. Each vendor has a certain different way of working – Some might use a lot of artificial lighting, Some might impose of constantly ask you to look into the camera. Such instances lead to each person trying to get the best frame possible eventually leading to each one of us in the other’s frame. We like things to be in our control on your most important day, not end up in chaos.
We use Sony A73 mirrorless cameras, for both photos and videos. We use primes and multiple lenses ranging from 24mm f1.4 GM to 85 f1.8. We use Mavic 2 pro for drones and Ronin for gimbal work. We use primarily Lightroom for our post production work.
We leave the choice of pictures to be printed into the Photobook to the client. Our default Album size is a 12inch by 15inch which can accommodate around 160-180 pictures.
So once we deliver the pictures to you, the selection is from your end. Once you upload us back the images selected, typical design time and print is around 4 weeks. The album is then personally delivered to an address provided, anywhere across India.

Of course! We have been part of weddings across the globe and we would be happy to travel to the destination of your wedding. For weddings outside Bangalore, travel and accommodation would be additionally charged. For accommodation, we ask that you reserve a room for us in the hotel where all the other guests are staying. All travel expenses are reimbursed after the wedding. We have travelled and provided candid photography and wedding films in Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar, Chennai and other places across India. We have been part of some beautiful weddings in Singapore and Malaysia as well.
Most of our clients are based outside India who plan coming back to India to get married. We make sure we get to speak to the clients over Whatsapp or Zoom, take in most of the details and plan the package. We have been doing this for 10 years now and has been a very smooth and transparent process.
