Let your wedding film be special. Why should it be a template?

Anand CJ, the founder is a filmmaker and is a graduate from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. We have been shooting wedding films over a decade.

We are wedding videographers based out of Bangalore, India. 

We are artists who come from the background of filmmaking. Our style is most often described as “Creative storytelling”, whose emphasis is on telling a unique, personal story of your wedding. We are not a volume based company where you are not aware of who eventually turns up to shoot your wedding day. We have detailed conversations with the bride and groom, understand your likes and dislikes, which helps us to making something special for your celebrations. We are always open to listening to your ideas instead of imposing our style onto you guys.

Here is where we stand out special. We are aware that weddings are a family celebration and no matter how personal and moving our smaller videos are, there is always a question if we provide the entire coverage. In Short – YES. We do provide the longer documented videos, and to make it extra special, they are of the similar quality and style as our shorter highlights are.

Since making wedding films are always about action and reaction, we have a minimum of 2 videographers shoot all our weddings hence we shall have more footage to play around in the editing table. Exceptions are of course smaller events like Haldi and Mehendi, we go with one person to shoot your event.

This is trick question! Now let me ask you instead – How do know if your most favourite music even matches your wedding visuals? How do we forcefully try to edit to the music so that it matches the visual? What about music usage which is copyrighted material?

Each music we choose is specially handpicked matching the wedding visuals to that they compliment each other. We pay 1000$ every year specially for our music.

Short Answer – NO. we do not take in your suggestions for adding your favourite music since it might dilute your wedding story.

We always advise our clients to go through our past work in detail so that they know our style and also the effort that goes into making our wedding films. The highlights is highly curated and handpicked, selecting the music according to the mood and the pacing of the wedding so that it blends perfectly with the visuals. We also mix the ambience and music so that they compliment each other. We also have a small internal show of the film so that we collate any changes and finesse them to an extent that each of our teammates are super happy with it.

What it means is when we share our wedding videos with you, they are final mastered files, and we have no internal changes from our end. Hence any changes with regards to change of music, change of the chronological order of our film would be a seemingly an improbable task if there are requests of any such kind.

That said, we do provide 1 Iteration of changes for both our shorter and longer format videos, the iteration can range from adding certain important guests to the videos or certain scenes or portions to be deleted. We try to have a conversation, hear your justification and then proceed with the iteration.

In over 300+ wedding films edited, 99 times out of 100, we never get any changes, that is the attention to detail we put into our wedding films record.

Since we provide the longer documented videos as well, we tend to use almost all the footage which we have shot, so that you are happy to keep them as the edited archive. In case of exceptions where you want the RAW video clips for archiving purposes, we provide them after 6 months after the delivery of our videos.
